At the 3-month mark, I went for my final follow-up with the director. It was nice that they checked in detail on things like whether there were any uncomfortable areas and what my condition was like. The correction of my uneven eyes, which was the biggest reason I had the surgery, and the improved strength in opening my eyes have made things much more comfortable. The morning eye swelling has also gone down a lot, and although a tiny bit still remains, the scar tissue from the canthoplasty has also improved a lot, so I’m living while hearing from people around me that I look pretty.
