Because I had a lot of eyelid fat and looked heavy-eyed, I decided to have the surgery done naturally. At one month, there is more swelling than on the day the stitches were removed. The lower blepharoplasty seems to have gone well, so I’m satisfied. For the double eyelid surgery, the swelling has gone down and the inner part overlaps like a curtain, so I’m concerned. I looked up Q&As posted by doctors, and they say it gets better with time. In the KakaoTalk consultation with the hospital where I had surgery, they also said the swelling is most severe around one month. Since it’s the most visible area, I’m worrying about it in many ways.
