The reason I hesitated about surgery was because thick double eyelids on celebrities or people around me often looked greasy to me.. I thought I would end up like that too if I had surgery. Surprisingly, it's simple and maybe even so plain that it feels a bit too rough. During the non-incisional surgery.. the anesthesia injection... that part hurts a little. They flip the eyelid over, insert the needle deep into the surface that meets the eyeball, and inject the medicine while slowly pulling the needle out. Then they give a few more shots in the eyelid area too. It stings~ and feels a bit sharp... that's how it was. It hurt for me a bit, but not to the point where I couldn't bear it. Now you're worried about pain after surgery too, right?? You think they cut, cauterize, and stitch it up.. won't it hurt? What if pain like circumcision comes crashing down on your eyes? Forget all those worries.. With the non-incisional method, there is no pain after surgery at all. With incision surgery, there may occasionally be some pain.. but it's not that severe. General surgical sutures just stitch so the tissue more or less sticks together... but plastic surgery suturing is very precise and closes it exactly as it was originally attached, so it hurts less.. If that suturing technique is poor, the scar is big... and it hurts a lot more, they say. Hmm.. how should you care for it after surgery... First of all, in my case, the swelling went down very quickly. Still, it took 2 weeks ㅡ,.ㅡ;; From the day of surgery, keep doing cold compresses nonstop with an ice pack..... like crazy.. completely.. really.. continuously. Until the ice pack freezes again, put ice in a plastic bag.. and use a towel over it.... Keep doing that continuously...... And.. it's better not to drink alcohol or smoke until the wound heals. I kept smoking from the day of surgery, but there was no particular problem.. I started drinking alcohol two weeks later..ㅡ,.ㅡ;; If you drink, the next day you'll be a bit swollen. If possible, I try not to drink. ㅡ,.ㅡ;;; Just think of not drinking for about a month. And for about 3 days from the day of surgery, if possible.. don't lower your eyes below your heart level... because blood pressure rises and that can cause bleeding or bruising and swelling. Also, it's better not to do anything that raises blood pressure. Even hot nights with your girlfriend... better hold back... They say the swelling keeps going down for about 2 to 3 months.
