Before/after <15 days after surgery> After turning 40, my eyelids sagged a lot, and my double-eyelid line became really strange. The inner-corner side got higher, and the outer line sagged a lot. Since my surgery was from 20 years ago, revision eye surgery felt really scary, and I thought revision surgery would be difficult and look too obvious. But after searching intensely, I realized that, unlike in the past, medical techniques have advanced remarkably. I want to encourage people around my age who are thinking about revision surgery and say that there isn’t that much to worry about. It’s not like before, with sausage-like eyes or lots of visible scarring. The swelling also becomes okay in about a week. Of course, mine was an incisional revision, and I had ptosis correction, eyelid fat grafting, and upper blepharoplasty together, so I think my swelling lasted longer than others’, and other people seem to recover faster. The incision marks are also very clean. If anything, I think the old surgical scar from 20 years ago was more noticeable. I had the surgery at ㄱㄹㅂ, and the doctor was really kind, and I think his mindset in the way he spoke and his skills were good too. But his schedule seemed extremely busy. One of my original lines had already been sharply bent, so one surgical line ended up bent on one side, and after 6 months he redid that one side for free as aftercare. I think the doctor tried to match them as closely as possible, but it seems like it was the limit of my original eyes, and I’m satisfied now. It has now been about 1 month since I had aftercare on one eye, and once about 6 months pass and it looks more natural, I’ll post another review.
