It has been 6 months since I had square jaw surgery at Bondi. It was my first square jaw surgery, and since shaving bone felt pretty scary, I thought about it for a really long time. It had been a complex of mine for a long time, and I kept struggling with stress because of it, so just the time I spent worrying about it was probably about 5-6 years. But no matter how much I think about it, I wish I had done it even a year earlier. For about 1-2 weeks, my mouth didn’t open well when eating, so I wondered if this was really normal, but it was exactly the same as the recovery process the hospital had told me about.
