It has been 12 months since I had square jaw surgery at Soda. I still feel the minor residual swelling gradually going down. In the beginning, the swelling around the jawline lasted the longest, but as I managed it by alternating cold and warm compresses as instructed by the hospital, it improved noticeably. Between 3 and 6 months, most of the major swelling had gone down, and I was quickly able to eat a regular diet without discomfort after starting with mostly soft foods. Currently, it has settled naturally with almost no swelling, and I have no discomfort when smiling or speaking. The facial contour has been refined without looking excessive…
