10 years ago, when I was in 9th grade, I had double eyelid surgery. It was done with the buried-suture method, using dissolvable thread, so separate stitch removal wasn’t needed, but the stitches on one side popped loose, so after 1 year I had surgery again on only one side, and 10 years have passed. There are no surgical scars, and people don’t know I had double eyelid surgery.
