Last spring, I had a surgical accident that the doctor acknowledged, and I went for treatment for a year. Now I'm going to the hospital to receive the settlement money, but since this is my first time in a situation like this, I don't know what I should receive. In this kind of case, can I get a refund for the surgery fee? The hospital says they'll process it through insurance if I want. Has anyone here received relief through insurance?
