There were times when my under-eye hollows looked especially noticeable, like when my reflection showed in a subway window, and no matter how much makeup I used, it didn’t improve, so I eventually decided to have surgery. Since everyone seemed to recover quickly, I took it too lightly, but the recovery period was at least 10 days, and the swelling lasted over two weeks. The under-eye area definitely improved, so now I don’t have under-eye hollows even in subway window reflections, but no one can tell what I had done. So I don’t think it’s a surgery that creates a dramatic change in appearance, and especially since I didn’t have severe under-eye fat to begin with, considering that my lower eye shape looks lifted compared to before surgery…
