My parents told me to stop constantly putting on and taking off double eyelid tape, so without knowing much, I got epicanthoplasty and double eyelid surgery from a director they knew through an acquaintance… The eyes I originally wanted were a natural, thin in-out line that got slightly wider toward the outer corners, but my eyes turned out completely different from that direction. The director said incisional double eyelid surgery would absolutely never come undone, but as soon as the stitches were removed after the surgery, the inner corners of both eyes came undone unevenly, so I went through quite a hard time emotionally. And the epicanthoplasty also turned out so ambiguous that I couldn’t tell whether it had been done or not, and the shape of the inner corners of my eyes too…
