Today marks one week. Until I went to the hospital this morning to have the tape removed, I was excited and my heart was pounding. Thankfully, my Jackson-like nose transformed into a normal nose haha. This made me understand why people get surgery with autologous dermis. Something magical happened to me too lol. There’s still more of a battle with time left, but I feel relieved that the contracture is gone. I’m just grateful to the director I trusted and chose. Now I want to take good care of my buttocks, let everything settle well, and enjoy life anew.
