Side effects - none so far. It just hurts a bit if I bump my nose. It is so natural that everyone cannot tell I had surgery, so I am satisfied. I think that is why I talked about making it higher or whatever. For reference, I got 4.5 silicone, and no donated rib or nasal cartilage. I liked that it did not hurt, and I am still using the individual cotton swabs well. I think I did well getting surgery in my mid-30s.
