My monolids and sleepy-looking eyes were a complex for me, so I was getting by with double eyelid tape, and now it’s been 9 months since I had surgery. On the day of surgery, I don’t think I had any pain or discomfort other than the incision area hurting a little. In the early stages after surgery, I really wanted to recover quickly, so I paid a lot of attention to swelling care, but after about three months, it naturally settled into place, so I no longer had to worry much about it in daily life. At first, I was mainly careful about washing my face and rubbing my eyes, but now I’m living comfortably, almost as if they were my own natural eyes.
