People often say revision double eyelid surgery absolutely has to be incisional. But even during my first surgery, I had natural adhesion and struggled more with swelling than expected, so even though it was a revision, I didn’t want an incision. I said I wanted natural adhesion or non-incisional buried sutures. So I went around to plastic surgery clinics specializing in eyes and had consultations asking them to give me an option that could be done with natural adhesion, to the point where you could basically say I insisted on it.
