I always felt self-conscious about my monolids because they made me look sleepy and plain, but when I saw friends around me who had double eyelid surgery, a lot of them had their image change dramatically just from eye surgery, so it took me a long time to actually decide on surgery Still, I was tired of using double-eyelid tape every day, and it felt like my eyelids were gradually stretching, so I decided not to put it off any longer. I did a lot of consultations and got the surgery. I don’t think it all shows in the photo, but in person, my eyes had quite a lot of fat on the upper eyelids, and because I had used double-eyelid tape for 3 years, the eye fat was slightly stretched.
