As someone who had my own firm standards about eye surgery, every time I went for consultations at different clinics, I kept telling the doctors like a broken record, “I’m not doing canthoplasty, I’m not doing ptosis correction.” But in the end, I got double eyelid surgery and canthoplasty together. It wasn’t so much that the clinic pressured me, but more that I was convinced by the doctor’s explanation, and yes, I’m very satisfied. If you look at my eyes now, I’m so full of myself that I go around taking 100 selfies a day. Maybe because I used double eyelid tape for almost 3 years, incisional surgery was unavoidable because of my eyelids, so even for incisional double eyelid surgery, I only went for consultations at places known for making it look natural…
