I had it done with the buried-suture method, and it's now day two. I did ice packs twice a day for 1 hour each. Yesterday it hurt a bit, but today the pain is gone. There was some swelling in the morning, but after doing an ice pack at lunchtime, it went down a lot. Since I can't wash my face, my face is shiny with oil....^^ I took two days off work yesterday and today, but tomorrow I go to work... I guess I'll look in the mirror tomorrow morning and decide whether I should wear translucent sunglasses. Since I did the buried-suture method, the swelling seems to go down quickly. I am worried it might come undone later, but they say these days it is a single-knot continuous buried-suture method, so it does not come undone as easily as in the past. I hope everyone who is thinking about surgery from now on gets good results.
