I thought a lot before deciding to have cosmetic surgery. It wasn’t that I had major dissatisfaction with my original face, but overall my impression looked somewhat indistinct, and whenever I took photos, I always looked tired, which was subtly stressful. I felt that way even more when I had no makeup on.
Right after surgery, of course there was swelling and it felt awkward, but after about a month, it changed noticeably. The swelling has almost gone down, and now the line has settled naturally. Every time I look in the mirror, I think, “Ah, this is why I got the surgery…”
