I was advised to get double eyelid surgery for medical reasons because my lower eyelashes were poking my eyes, but honestly, I did it partly for personal reasons because I had monolids and small eyes.
It was also my first time looking into plastic surgery clinics, and after searching through apps, I went to a newly opened place with low prices. The consultant was very kind. It’s my own body, so thinking back now, I do feel like I chose too casually and lacked caution, but I’m satisfied with the result. The consultation with the director only lasted a few minutes, maybe 10 minutes? It was short, and then I booked the surgery date. They designed the line for me and checked what suited me, the thickness I wanted, and so on.
I didn’t work very hard on aftercare, so there was a slight scar near the inner front part of my eye, but honestly it’s barely noticeable. People around me all thought it was natural.
It was my first cosmetic surgery, and since I originally had monolids, my eyes changed to look noticeably bigger than before, so I’m satisfied.
