Plastic surgery is courage before becoming prettier

My double eyelids were originally on the larger side, but the right side would get a little smaller, then bigger, however it wanted, so I made up my mind and had surgery. If I hadn’t joined this community, I probably wouldn’t have even decided to have surgery^^ , Right before getting on the operating table, I wanted to run out of there. I wanted to shout, “Please refund me,” because I shouldn’t just vaguely end up lying on the operating table. But in the end, I went up as the nurse unnie led me, carrying only anxiety and not my own will. I had sedation anesthesia, so it was very comfortable. They said they were going to give me an injection in my arm, but before I could even tell whether they had injected me, I was experiencing a three-dimensional world, and I thought I had only slept for about two or three minutes, but then I came to. The incisions were already all done, and while tying the knots, the doctor was finishing up while asking me this and that. . Originally, even just drawing a line with a pin would easily create a double eyelid for me, and my eyelids were thin with almost no fat, so I thought they wouldn’t swell, but apparently they swelled a lot. I wanted them bigger than my existing double eyelids, but right now they seem to be about one centimeter. Because my eyes are swollen, only about half of my pupils are visible, and the double eyelids are swollen almost like Ok So-ri’s eyes when she first had eye surgery. I do think the swelling will go down, but I’m still quietly worried that, like Ok So-ri, it might not go down for years. Many people have posted photos from right after surgery, but I’m about three times more swollen than those people, and because I had the front of the eyes opened, my eyes look stretched out, and the inner corners have been pulled so the double eyelid shape looks almost triangular. The inner corner side of the eyes is thicker... At first, I wanted the back part to become wider rather than the inner corner, but since this was partial incision, does it look that way because the incised area is more swollen? Anyway, I’m diligently doing cold compresses, but it feels like a waste of time and it’s boring too.. I’m going to Jeju Island with my boyfriend next week, and I still haven’t told him I had surgery. What should I do^^ , Surgery really seems to be about courage. Especially for surgery like double eyelids, where you can see the result right on the eyes, even more so. This thickness that looks like one centimeter now will soon become thinner, and my whole pupils will be visible too, right?
