Lower bleph + epicanthoplasty surgery // From design to payment, until getting home...

This was my first surgery since a corn surgery (if that even counts as surgery;).ㅎ There were all kinds of things said about the anesthesia and the surgery process, so I was looking forward to it...ㅎ Things like drifting into a 4D world with sleep anesthesia, and the feeling that you can tell it’s burning the fat and making the incision;;; those kinds of things aa I went to the hospital at 10, used the restroom once first, and took a photo once Then I designed the line with the director// I didn’t talk about the line thickness or how many millimeters for the epicanthoplasty I just had it made and decided on the one I liked best- Then they drew the line with a pen.ㅎㅎ They just handled it well on their own, so I didn’t have much to say a And then I paid for the surgery- The surgery cost was 1.7 million won, but they said they’d give a 100,000 won discount if I paid cash- I just paid by card-_- At that point the hospital would be taking almost 40,000 won in fees, so honestly that’s too stingy- if they’d discounted by about 200,000 or 300,000 won, that would be different. I was a bit disappointed that they charged so stingily-(fixated on money;ㅅ;) Before booking surgery, it’s better to clearly negotiate how much they’ll take off if you pay cash~ Before you decide, they act like they’ll give a cheap price and treat you well-_- I wandered off topic for a bit//ㅎㅎ Anyway, after the design was finished, I went into the operating room- I just wore the same clothes I came in with,, (that’s why I wore a T-shirt with a wide neckline-) While they inserted the needle into my left hand, they took my blood pressure with my right arm- I was so nervous about the injection that my blood pressure temporarily came out high; it quickly returned to normal.ㅎㅎ I didn’t know that was the sleep anesthesia injection, but it seems it was the anesthetic- The nurse covered me with a blanket a little, and just as I thought I could feel the medicine going in, after that I remember nothing at all-_-;; It felt like I was passing through a dark tunnel- Like riding the comet express.ㅎㅎ It wasn’t thrilling or anything; just a little dizzy// I felt like I was sinking downward somehow (probably in an elevator) Before I knew it, it seemed like I had come down from the 4th-floor operating room to the 2nd-floor recovery room- They say I came down in a wheelchair, but I don’t remember;ㅎ The surgery took a little less than an hour- I don’t remember anything about the procedure at all-_-;;;;;;(I was expecting it though;ㅅ;) My mind was so foggy and I couldn’t open my eyes either (they had put a hot/cold pack over my eyes) So I started looking for the nurse next to me first, (I went with my older sisterㅎ) Even I think I was really talking too much-_-; 'Sis- where am I? Is the surgery over? What time is it now? Did I tell the doctor not to make me end up with hidden double eyelids?;; (It seems I fell asleep before the director even came inㅠ idiot;ㅠ) Did it turn out well? How long was the surgery?' and so on-_- The nurse told me to sleep until the anesthesia wore off, but I kept chattering;ㅅ;ㅎㅎ When I was leaving, the nurse smiled and said, 'Do you remember being noisy and not sleeping earlier?' and I pretended I didn’t know anything-_-;; My eyes felt a bit strange, and above all my throat was so dry- They said the anesthesia would make me very thirsty. I drank two lukewarm cups of water-_-; Then I urgently needed the bathroom, and even though I could barely steady myself I went to the restroom;;ㅎㅎ Then I drank water again-_-; Even now, 10 hours later, the thirst is still there- I’m so full that I can’t keep drinking water anyway// More than anything, I heard that if you keep drinking water before sleeping, the swelling won’t go down as well, so,, I’m holding back as best I can for now- I fell asleep in a dazed state, then woke up again and chattered,,, I kept doing that, and then about an hour and a half later I got up- When I tried to open my eyes, the surgical area felt tight, and, The unfamiliar sensation was uncomfortable- At first I couldn’t really open my eyes, but as time passed I got to the point where I could practice lifting them.ㅎ There wasn’t much pain, but the place where the needle went into my left hand hurt-_-; The surgery site hurts only about that much too// At first I was acting spoiled, saying 'it hurts, it hurts,' but,,,ㅎㅎ The nurse says I’m a drama queen;; On the way back from the restroom (I was really not fully conscious;) The nurse was peeling off the bandage from where the injection had been, and I kept whining that it hurt;ㅅ; At the time it really did hurt; sob; I think it was because I was not in my right mind and it stung too; On the way home I stopped by a porridge shop and ate pumpkin porridge and packed up two servings to take home. I didn’t buy pumpkin juice,, just bought sweet pumpkin and old pumpkin- I’m going to steam them little by little and eat them- But the swelling isn’t that bad, so I still haven’t eaten them.ㅎ The hot/cold pack was given to me by the hospital,, I also asked for the one they had put on my eyes in the recovery room and took it home.ㅎ Ah, earlier my eyes felt so stuffy that I gently wet a cotton swab with water and carefully,, removed the eye crust// from the inner corner of the eye- But it turned out to be blood-stained eye crustㅠㅡㅠ I flinched for a moment- sobㅠ It should be okay, right?;;; The medication for five days cost about 9,000 won,, I wore the hat and sunglasses I had prepared and came home- The dizziness and nausea from the anesthesia got better about two or three hours after leaving the hospital,, The medicine is just one antibiotic pill- no ointment either a I took photos today,, and I look like a monster-_-; The first time I looked in the mirror, I was shocked- Like some kind of monster-_-;;; When I looked at other people’s photos, I thought, well, that’s probably how it is, but once my own eyes actually looked like that, I really looked like a monsterㅠ They remove the stitches on the 29th,, Until then I’ll keep taking photos faithfully and I’ll upload them to the photo board, including after the stitches are removed~ For those who haven’t had surgery yet,, and those who have already set a surgery date,, I hope everyone becomes beautiful~ Merry Christmas♥
