Jaw and Cheekbones, Day 7... After Removing the Stitches...

After a week, I had the stitches removed and also took off all the tape that had been covering my face so tightly,,, I thought I was doing okay because I didn’t have that much pain and I hadn’t swollen severely, but after taking off the compression band and even the tape, the empty space on my face is no joke.. It looks much bigger than before surgery (which is only natural;;).. I can’t believe the reason I looked less swollen was all thanks to the tape and the compression band.. OTL Anyway, still, now that all the treatment is done, I had been really worried my skin would get damaged because of the tape, but after taking that off too, I do feel much more refreshed... I think I spent over an hour at home just peeling off the sticky residue stuck all over my face from the tape.. gasp... The doctor says I’m not very swollen, but after surgery I feel like I’ll need at least a full month before I can go out normally.. In my case, I’m keeping it all secret from my boyfriend and friends... so I’m being even more careful...;; The doctor said from now on I just shouldn’t eat hard foods and should keep doing warm compresses well.. Since after surgery, I’ve been able to eat relatively without much difficulty. Today too, I mixed rice into hangover soup broth, ate yogurt, and blended plums with ice (if you blend most fruits like this with ice and syrup, it’s tasty and good~^^), and now I’m sitting here writing a review for the first time~ Other than being extremely bored, I’m spending the time thinking of it as a rare break~ Everyone, hang in there, and those who had surgery like me, take good care of yourselves~ Fighting!
