It felt a bit much to call it surgery, so I was debating whether to write a post, but then I saw a question about nose injections in the Nose Q&A section, so in case anyone might be curious even about something like this, I’m posting a brief review. I got injections in my nose 3 weeks ago.. You know, the injection that raises the nose? The one that isn’t permanent.. There are 1-year and 5-year injectable products.. I just got the 1-year hyaluronic acid one. At that clinic, they said the 5-year filler (Aquamid) has not been approved yet, so they do not recommend it. (I saw someone in the Q&A say they had the procedure with the 5-year Aquamid....) If the patient wants it, they can inject it, but I know the manager at that clinic (-_-;), so she told me even those details.. So I just got the 1-year one. (It was a little disappointing, but.. well.. -_-;;) They inject it in two rounds.. After the injection, they reinforce it once more a week later.. After the second reinforcement.. Ta-da~~~~~~ My nasal bridge completely came alive *.* (sparkly sparkly~~) My nasal bridge was a bit low.. But they said that with this injection, the dorsum of the nose (the area between the brows) can be raised quite a lot, but the nasal tip cannot be raised much. They said the nasal tip has a lot of flesh and is thick, so it does not lift with injections. Until last week, I was fairly satisfied, but it doesn’t seem like the effect will last very long. The area between the brows is still high, but it has still lowered a lot compared with the beginning.. (Or maybe my eyes have just gotten used to it, so it feels that way.. -_-;;) And the important part is the middle to lower part of the nasal dorsum.. (meaning the part that goes down toward the nasal tip) It has become a little blunt and spread out. There is none of the sharp look it had at first. So these days, when I put on makeup in the morning, I pinch my nasal tip a bit with a clothespin. ^^;; It would be good for people who want to raise the nasal dorsum (between the brows) quickly, secretly, and without scars, but I do not recommend it for people who want to raise the nasal tip. For reference.. Before the injection.. they apply anesthetic cream for about 30 minutes. After that, you get the injection.. It is more or less bearable.. It is not as if you feel nothing.. but it is not extremely painful.. And after the first injection.. for about a week.. it hurts a little if you press your nose with your hand.. After 2-3 weeks, it is okay.. During the first week, quite a lot of the product gets absorbed.. Some people said their nose turned red after the injection.. I had none of that at all.. The price.. I got it discounted to 800,000 won.. ^^; (The first injection was at the end of April.. and the second injection was in early May..)
