I posted in the photo section yesterday, and today I’m writing a review. (Scroll warning^^;) I went through my school years not knowing I had ptosis, then at a hospital I went to for a jaw consultation I was diagnosed with ptosis and only had my eyes done the day after graduation^^;; I think I paid around 1.5 million at a hospital in Gangnam. It stung a little when they did the anesthesia, but it was bearable.. The doctor played music and kept talking to me while doing the surgery, so I felt at ease. Maybe because it was ptosis correction, it took an hour and a half!! That was a bit intense^^; (When blood splattered on my face and I heard something cutting snip-snip above my eyes, it felt really gross - everyone relates? lolol) I didn’t want to be embarrassed in front of the kids from high school, so I deliberately did it the day after graduation// There wasn’t much time until the entrance ceremony (about 20 days), so I worried a lot, but with truly beast-like recovery, after 3 days most of the bruising disappeared, and after a week it was still a little thick but good enough to go outside, and when I went to orientation after 2 weeks, the kids didn’t notice// This probably differs by person regardless of the hospital, but I think I really recover quickly^^; Anyway, time passed and passed, and now here I am. I think I looked the prettiest about 3 months after surgery~ Now I’ve gained a little weight and all the swelling has completely, completely gone down, so my eyes have become much smaller, and I’m a little less happy with them than before, but overall I’m satisfied. When I meet friends from middle and high school, everyone says I got prettier, and the girls even ask which hospital I went to lol, so I feel like my satisfaction with life has really gone up a little. Can one pair of eyes change a person this much.. I wonder. Before, I had such a severe appearance complex (of course, even now I’m still struggling a lot because of my square jaw^^;) I lacked confidence when meeting new people and stressed myself out a lot, but now a lot of those things have disappeared, so it feels like I received treatment mentally too. Ah, and there was a cosmetic purpose too, but first of all, ptosis means it’s hard to open the eyes itself, (Before, when I sat in the classroom, it was hard to look at the upper part of the blackboard using only eye strength, so I always had my head lifted) and after the surgery, it is really so comfortable. Before, my eyelids were visible. I lived not knowing that was abnormal... Ah, writing this review brings back old memories and makes me emotional! lolololol Anyway, anyway, I think having surgery was something that drew a big line in my life (it really did draw a line too, right? lol) I think I really did well to do it.. Since I don’t go out of my way to tell people I meet for the first time that I had surgery, nobody knows~ (It also looks quite like inner double eyelids^^;) Those of you who are hesitating now, really, definitely! Do it. But at a hospital that gives good consultations and feels trustworthy.. No matter how much others recommend a hospital, there’s no guarantee things will go well at that hospital too.. I think your own trust, an accurate diagnosis, consultation, and so on are the most important~ Ah, and one thing that bothers me a bit after surgery is.. When celebrities come up at drinking gatherings, talk about plastic surgery comes up too. At those times, when people say things like, “How can someone put a knife to their face,” “Those women are ruthless,” or in men’s cases, that they would never marry a woman who had plastic surgery, I honestly feel a bit stabbed and angry.. But thinking that the people who have that kind of mindset are the ridiculous ones makes it easier to let it pass^^; It’s not like anyone wanted to be born this way, and if you can fix it enough to live more beautifully and more comfortably, isn’t it stranger just to leave it as it is.. Ah, as I kept writing, it became rambling^^ Anyway, for those who haven’t had surgery yet, I hope reading my review helped even a little~ I replied to the people who messaged me yesterday.. but I won’t answer any more hospital information questions// (It feels too much like promotion, so I’m uncomfortable^^;;;;) But I’ll answer all other questions, so if you’re curious about anything else, send me a message. Then fighting, everyone^^
