I had surgery on July 21. I only had the tip of my nose done, not the bridge.. with ear cartilage.. It's exactly been one week now.. But.. I still haven't had the stitches removed. I'm going to get them taken out on Saturday (after ten days).. I bled so much that blood had pooled inside my nose... The same happened with my ear too, because so much blood pooled there that two days after the nose surgery, they removed the stitches from my ear, drained the blood, and stitched it up again. My nose tip looks like a total monster.. today my friends saw it and teased me that I look like a Smurf.. and honestly, I do too... The hospital says it'll be fine once the swelling goes down, but I keep doubting whether this is really swelling or not.. and I'm also scared that the swelling won't go down.. I don't have the confidence to get through the world with this Smurf nose.. Can complications happen even if they didn't put in silicone or Gore-Tex? Ah, I'm scared...
