Yesterday evening, I had eye surgery at Apgujeong ㄷㄹ with Dr. Park ㅇㅅ. My eyes were very small to begin with, so we decided to widen both the front and back. After I arrived at the hospital and waited a bit, a nurse told me to change into patient clothes and wash my face, so I washed my face and sat there anxiously. Then I went into the operating room, and as I was lying on the operating table, all sorts of thoughts came to mind;; Should I run away now, if I run away how much would my mom have to pay as a penalty, things like that;; Before the surgery started, I was so scared I thought I would die. The doctor came in and seemed to be marking the line, and then I fell asleep;; Is this sleep anesthesia? Neither the doctor nor the nurse specifically told me it was sleep anesthesia;; I had been really scared because people said the anesthetic injection hurts, but since I just fell asleep, maybe that was a good thing.. The surgery took about an hour and a half, so I think I slept for about an hour. I even had a strange dream;; I came to my senses when they were doing the double eyelid and fat removal. During the fat removal, it throbbed and hurt a bit. So I was groaning, “Ugh..” and in the operating room next to mine someone was screaming, “It hurts!!!!” -_- While doing the double eyelid, they kept telling me to open my eyes.. The lateral canthoplasty area also throbbed.. After I came around a bit and they told me to open my eyes, I said, “Ugh.. when.. will it end?” and the doctor didn’t understand and said, “Pardon?!” so I said again, “I asked when it will end.” But this doctor gave a little smirk and didn’t answer me -_- Not long after, they applied something like ointment to my eyes and the surgery was over. I was dizzy and totally out of it, and the nurse was explaining something and something.. but I couldn’t understand any of it, so the nurse checked by asking again, “When did I say you should come next?” -_- When I got home and looked in the mirror.. I looked like a monster.. The distance between my eyes wasn’t that wide to begin with, so for the epicanthoplasty, they didn’t do it toward the nose but toward the forehead (upward). For the lateral canthoplasty, they said they would do 2 mm, but it seemed like they opened it more than I expected. I’ll have to take good care of it so it doesn’t reattachㅋ Anyway, for now I’m satisfied. I’ll organize things later and upload photos too^^
