I had alar reduction surgery in 2021. I was too lazy to shop around, so I booked right away at the first clinic I went to for a consultation. It was the excision type and they tied it with sutures. On the day of surgery, I was fine enough to wear a mask and even go to my part-time job. But from the next day, it felt a little stiff and sore. Now there is a suture mark on one alar line, but it just looks like a large pore. If I don’t say anything, people don’t know I had it done.
