I had my first surgery in January 2024, and the surgery was done using only ear cartilage. Before even 6 months had passed after the surgery, my nasal tip drooped, and the step-off is pretty severe too. My nose is also deviated to the left enough that anyone can notice it, so I went for an aftercare consultation this summer, but they just kept saying there was nothing they could do because my cartilage has no strength, and there was nothing they could do about the step-off because my skin is thick. They only kept saying everything couldn't be helped. I was so upset, so when I went to other hospitals for revision-surgery consultations, they were all surprised that surgery had been done with my cartilage because it had that little strength. I found out for the first time then. Ha... the hospital from my first surgery...
