Because Sunday was a day off, I had no choice but to endure one more day. When I sleep and wake up, my face gets so swollen and my throat gets dry, so I intentionally stayed up all night. I went right at 10, a staff member removed the packing, then the director came and checked, and we decided to remove the stitches at the 1-week mark. After removing the packing, they wiped inside with new gauze to see if there was any remaining blood, and it hurt so much that tears streamed down. The actual packing that had been inside my nose felt so relieving and good when it was removed. I really realized how happy it is to feel air going into my nostrils.
