I had revision rhinoplasty using donated costal cartilage and ear cartilage. After surgery, my nose hurt so much that I worried a lot it might be inflammation, but on the first day I got an antibiotic injection and it gradually improved. Now it’s been a week, and I’ve had the guard and all the stitches removed, but the blood bruising around my eyes and bruising on the nasal bridge are severe, and the glabella is thick. I look like an Avatar. It just looks long, like chalk was put inside, and I’m honestly depressed. I’m really worried the bruising on the nasal bridge won’t go away, and I’m wondering whether I should go get the white dissolvable stitches inside my nose removed or if I can just leave them alone.
