Autologous costal cartilage, ear cartilage, silicone only on the nasal bridge, autologous dermis at the nasal tip. Rhinoplasty review. After surgery, I had the splint removed, but the columella was swollen, so I kept going in for a week, had blood and pus drained, cotton placed, and injections, and spent time like that. Now they said it seems okay, so I'm so relieved. After rhinoplasty, if anyone here had mild inflammation or blood pooling inside the nose, not on the nasal bridge, I'd like to share information. Because it's cartilage I'm worried the nasal tip will shorten.
