The swelling feels like it has gone down a bit compared with the first day. On the first day, I had bruising like dark circles, and today there is yellow bruising under the eyes and around the deep cheek area. The cheek area has come down looking puffy. My whole face is swollen. But it is not at a serious level; I look roughly like someone who gained about 20 kg. If a stranger just saw me, it would be the level of swelling where they'd think, oh, that person gained weight. I'm eating much more freely than when I had jaw surgery. I was worried because they said I shouldn't chew and shouldn't open my mouth, but what's important is the incision and suture location. To me, this just felt important. When I had jaw surgery, eating for a week was hell...
