Counting the surgery day as day 0, today is day 4. Starting today, the swelling is beginning to go down. The acne that kept appearing where the pins had been stopped appearing as soon as they were removedㅋㅋ It’s fascinating and feels good. But because I had so much acne, there are some scars, so I think I’ll need to keep managing them. I developed faint bruising under my eyes and beside my mouth. I had no sensation on the left side of my face from above the mouth to the cheekbone, but I can feel it coming back day by day. Sometimes the areas where the pins were removed hurt with a tingling sensation. It seems to be part of the recovery process. I can open my mouth two and a half fingers wide and can chew and eat anything, even hard foods …
