I woke up at dawn on day 2 after surgery because I was uncomfortable. I guess I need to sleep sitting up. My throat hurts, and blood clots keep trying to come down into my throat, so I spit them out. I think I spit them out about 10 times a day. I’m gargling every 2 hours. I’m also doing a lot of ice packs. On day 1, my left cheek swelled a lot, and it’s still like that now. I don’t even know if these symptoms are normal, and they said swelling is heavy until day 4, so I guess I’ll have to watch it.
