Non-open approach for removal?

When removing septal cartilage from the nasal tip, would it be better to make an incision on the columella and do an open approach, or would a non-open approach be better? Also, if they make an incision, could it cause contraction in the columella or anything like that? ㅠ But then some places say an open approach is better than a non-open approach. If anyone knows, I’d appreciate it if you could leave a comment. Even just sharing your personal thoughts would be good.
