It has been a little over a month since I had septal extension surgery. Since the surgery, I have never once slept for more than 3 to 4 hours. First of all, losing my natural nose has been mentally hard, and the nasal passage on the side with the septal graft has become narrower, so breathing is also a bit uncomfortable ㅠ The foreign-body sensation from the septum, the heaviness of the nose, and so on are all so hard to deal with. I used to have a happy family and a worry-free life like everyone else, but after nose surgery I’ve been worn out physically and mentally by self-blame and depression, and it feels like my body and mind aren’t moving the way I want them to. Venting to my family is hard for both sides, so I can’t really do it freely, which is why I’m venting here instead ㅠ If I remove it at the 6-month mark, can everything go back to the way it was before...

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
