5 years ago, I had surgery with silicone, ear cartilage, septal cartilage, and donated costal cartilage. The operated nose doesn’t harmonize with my face, and I can see cartilage show-through and a depression between the silicone and cartilage, so I’m trying to remove them. I was thinking of removal and went around for consultations, and of the two places I liked, one recommended total nose removal, while the other said to remove only the ear cartilage and silicone while preserving the nasal tip shape. I do prefer the direction of preserving the nasal tip, but the donated costal cartilage feels like a big burden. I don’t want revision surgery, but if I keep the donated costal cartilage in, is there a high chance of problems later on? ㅠㅠ Inflammation and contracture are …
