My surgical method was nasal bridge - 35 silicone, nasal tip - septal cartilage/donated costal cartilage support strut, nasal tip cap graft with ear cartilage. And originally I was thinking of full removal, but after reading a lot of posts and narrowing things down, it seemed like full removal isn’t always the best answer. It seems that leaving even a very minimal support strut can make the chance of getting a shape close to my natural nose much higher than having no support strut.
