Swelling and things after cheekbone surgery last longer than I expected.

When I looked at reviews online, a lot of them said things like everyone’s face becomes as slim as before in just 2 weeks, and by one month the swelling goes down quickly, so I’m not sure if that was a bit exaggerated or if I’m just slow to recover. I’m usually the type to recover pretty quickly from surgeries or all kinds of injuries, and wounds almost never get inflamed, so I felt reassured, but even exactly one month in, there’s more swelling in the front cheeks than I expected. It’s not to the point that someone else would notice, but it’s the kind of swelling I can feel when I touch it. The area under my eyes is also a bit like that. Of course, I know swelling can last as long as 6 months to 1 year, but…
