I had orthodontic treatment before because of malocclusion, and I had surgery because of my protruding chin and asymmetry. It’s been 2 weeks now, and the chin protrusion definitely seems to have improved. As for the asymmetry, I think I’ll only know once the swelling goes down, but so far it feels good, so I’m looking forward to it. The first week was pretty tough, and there were sensory changes and limited mouth opening. Now it’s at least become somewhat bearable. Will it be much better after about a month? When I had my 2-week follow-up at the hospital, they said I was recovering well. Then there shouldn’t be any major problem, right?
