It’s day 4 after my complete nasal implant/material removal. 15 years ago, I had silicone and 3 layers of septal cartilage stacked in the nasal tip, and nothing was placed in the columella. Before surgery, the doctor said they would wake me up if there was possibly a step-off, but after surgery my nose was deviated to the left, the 3 pieces/layers of septal cartilage were shifted to the left, and they had been tied too tightly, so the left side of my nasal tip was deeply indented. The doctor said they would place just one layer of my existing septal cartilage on top. They did ask me to choose. They said that if they didn’t place even one layer, after complete removal it might recover later, but if not, it could become indented...

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
