It's day 3. I had surgery on Friday evening through an intraoral incision. The swelling is beyond words and except for the area covered by the compression band, it feels like my face is going to protrude forward ㅜ_ㅜ For two days straight it hurt so much that I woke up every 1-2 hours all night and applied cold compresses. Maybe because of that, the swelling around my eyes and cheekbones is a little less, but my cheeks and chin are swollen so much that they really hurt But reading posts here, everyone said swelling is like that, so I'm keeping that in mind and waiting, but my throat hurts really badly, like after tonsil surgery Was it like that for you too? Of course it hurts when I swallow saliva, and even when I'm just sitting there it hurts so, so much and it's also very swollen on the outside? Why would this be happening??? I'm only eating porridge, but even swallowing that is hard Did your throat not hurt? If it did, what did you do?? Please reply!!!!
