I had nose surgery with autologous costal cartilage on Monday. The autologous rib cartilage area barely hurts when I move, just a little, but the throbbing from the cotton stuffed in my nostrils and my dry mouth are hard too. Still, the dryness on the roof of my mouth hurts the most. I tasted hell. It’s hard to even drink water, and water doesn’t make my mouth moist. Since I have to breathe only through my mouth, I can’t keep water in my mouth. Every time I swallow water, I feel pressure in my ears. Even taking one sip is hard. After drinking water and breathing 3 times, I’m right back in dry-mouth hell. Did it hurt this much for you all too? My dry mouth hurts so much, seriously, why did I even get nose surgery, thinking I’d enjoy some kind of luxury…
