It has been 6 days since my nose surgery, and the columella stitch area has turned whitish and swollen-looking, so it looks bumpy. Does anyone know why this might be? It was like this right after surgery, and I thought it would get better over time When I touched it with a cotton swab, it also seemed hard. Do they apply something white to the surgical site? What on earth is this? I really hope it scars less.
