I had the cotton removed from my nose yesterday, and the clinic told me to apply ointment inside my nose in the morning, at lunch, in the evening, and before bed. But my runny nose is overflowing. How should I apply it? Should I just ignore the runny nose and apply it? For now, I wipe away the mucus that’s running out and then apply it, but even when I put it inside my nose, I can’t tell whether it’s actually going on because of the runny nose.
