Facial Surgery Reviews@face-review

Posting my review after receding chin surgery.

I received a lot of messages, so I’m just posting my review here. Today is day 12, and I had osteotomy, advanced by 6 mm. My face was already on the longer side below the eyes, and after correcting the receding chin, it looks a bit longer. They said they should have advanced it about 10 mm, but because my face might become too long, they advanced it 6 mm, but it still looks long for now. I’ll organize it by date. Though there will be individual differences. Day of surgery - General anesthesia. My tonsils swelled more than my chin. Days 2-3 - Whole face swollen. Lips also very thick. Days 4-5 - Bandage removed on day 4. Chin was very swollen, like a protruding chin. Bruising started on the chin. Days 6-7 - Bruising extended down to the neck, and swelling started to go down. Days 8-9 - On day 9, overall facial swelling went down a lot, but the lower jaw had no sensation and it was still hard to open my mouth. Since eating freely was difficult, I lost a lot of cheek fat. (So I looked even longer.) Day 12 - My mouth opens fairly freely now. I can eat rice, but chewing meat is not good. My lower lip still feels hot and stinging, and my lower jaw still has a slight protruding-chin tendency left,. My lips return to their original thickness. I still have no sensation. My lower teeth hurt.. My neck hurts too. I don’t think I should overwork myself. I went to work on day 5.. but if I overdo it, my chin hurts more, and it feels like I have a lump attached.. It also gets hard. The hospital I went to is near Apgujeong. I had it done at ppp Facial Bone Story. They say they only do chin and nose there. Anyway, whether it is osteotomy or implant insertion, receding chin surgery makes the face longer. They say as the swelling goes down, the length also shortens, but it still does get longer. People with long faces should think carefully. I also plan to wait only until my chin muscles relax. You really need to think carefully.. Because after chin surgery, the feeling of the face changes a lot, and the balance can be disrupted, so you might not know if you’ll need to do other areas too. For receding chin osteotomy, you can roughly think of the cost as 3.5-4 million won.
