I had nose surgery about 7 years ago, and I don’t think they used autologous costal cartilage back then. I think it was done only with silicone, but it’s still holding up well with no problems at all lol I’m satisfied, it doesn’t look obvious, and the nasal bridge is high too. Anyway, for nose surgery, definitely look for a place that is good at revision rhinoplasty and also good with autologous costal cartilage. Even for a first nose surgery, a lot of people seem to use autologous costal cartilage these days. If I were getting nose surgery now, I would definitely do it with autologous costal cartilage. Since autologous costal cartilage is sturdy, the nasal tip has to be pretty for the nasal bridge to be high and still harmonize well. And the nasal tip won’t droop…
