I went because an acquaintance recommended the place, so even though the doctor wasn’t especially famous for eyes, I went thinking only about getting double eyelid surgery and was ready to just go through with it. But I was also recommended ptosis correction, an in-out double eyelid line, and epicanthoplasty, so I thought, “They’re the expert, so they’ll do well,” and just did everything. The result: I’m completely satisfied. No one around me noticed, and friends who say they want double eyelid surgery say they want theirs done like mine.
But because I had epicanthoplasty, the redness at the inner corners of my eyes still hasn’t gone away, so I cover it every day (my skin doesn’t heal that well to begin with). Oh, and I asked for an in-out line, but it became a semi-out line. Since the line was intentionally set on the low side anyway, there isn’t a huge difference, but keep that in mind. During the surgery, they told me to open my eyes. I don’t remember exactly why now, but I think it was to check how the line looked. Anyway, they told me to open my eyes about 4 times, so I opened them, they checked, then continued surgery. At those moments my vision was blurry, but I could make out the face, and it wasn’t a ghost doctor. It was the same face I saw during the consultation, so even in that dazed state from anesthesia, I remember thinking I was relieved.
