I had a severe retruded chin, so during consultation they said they would advance it 12 mm, but the surgery was done with an 11 mm advancement. It’s been 2 weeks now, and I’m worried because my face length seems longer than before. The clinic only says it looks that way because of swelling and that it’s temporary, but when I searched, it seems there are quite a few people whose faces actually got longer. Among everyone who had genioplasty advancement, has anyone had the same phenomenon?
