After gathering information in this community for 2 hours every day for two months, I finally had surgery yesterday. My 4 cm distance between the eyes was my biggest complex, so I looked into hospitals mainly for epicanthoplasty information~ I did my eyes first, and my eyes are uneven and my inner canthi (the inner eye shape of the Mongolian fold) are also uneven, so I think it took longer because the doctor tried to make both sides come out as similar as possible... Maybe because I’m usually not scared, I did the eyes first, and it didn’t hurt at all even when I got the anesthetic injections It only stung a little when I got the first shot on one side, and from the second shot on, maybe the anesthesia had taken effect, it didn’t hurt Thankfully, the anesthesia didn’t wear off until the magic epicanthoplasty, which is said to take a really long time, was over, and I was worried because they said they press down on the nose a lot, but that was nothing special either... I was a little worried because they said they make you open and close your eyes during surgery. Wouldn’t it hurt... But well... it was nothing During surgery I asked the doctor, “Doctor... does it look like it came out well?” and he said, “It’s killer.” I’m a bit slow on the uptake, so all the nurses next to me laughed but I was the only one not laughing, then later I giggled by myself lol While doing my eyes, I thought, this is really doable... it’s no big deal.. After the eyes were finished, I went to the bathroom too... But in the bathroom, the moment I tried to hold it in and looked in the mirror... what is this, my eyes were swollen so much and looked extremely pulled inward, like someone had pulled the space between my eyes with their hand~ It’s because of swelling... I’ll get prettier later... I muttered that to myself and went back to the operating table.. For the nose, they said anesthetic injections hurt, so I had sedation anesthesia If only, like other people, the surgery had been over when I woke up after sedation... how nice that would have been... I tried to keep my head straight, but I really understood why people call it a roller coaster I kept traveling through tunnels too. Together with the doctor... I thought the surgery would be over when I woke up, but that was the beginning After that, it was truly horrifying time.. ㅠ.ㅠ There was so much bleeding that so much blood went down the back of my throat, I coughed and almost vomited several times... I shouted, “I want to spit it out~~~~!!!!!!!” but they told me to just swallow it... When I heard, “The patient is having such a hard time,” I felt so sorry for myself... sob sob sob I barely steadied my breathing and muttered, Please make it pretty, please make it pretty.... The doctor said, “You’re already pretty, so don’t worry,” but that was a patient line, and to the nurses he said, “The cartilage has strength, but it’s uneven, one side has a deformity, it’s wrinkly and bent and so on.....” and said worrying things like, “This isn’t an easy nose. Why is only the flesh of the nose like this?”... Actually, with the nose I debated until the very end whether to do it or not, and decided not to do the bridge (it’s not that high originally, but my forehead is low and narrow so I thought a high bridge wouldn’t suit me) and only do the nasal tip. I decided because I liked the nose specialist director at that hospital, who had a refreshing and humorous style But really, all I can think is that nose surgery was,,,, horrifying. Still, the doctor said things like, “What if you get so pretty that they don’t recognize you at work and kick you out,” “Mm. very good. I like it. Pretty.” and so on, so although I look like a monster now, I’m looking forward to it I iced it on the way home, and when I got home and looked in the mirror, maybe the swelling from the epicanthoplasty right after surgery had already gone down, because my eyes had no swelling or bruising at all, as if I hadn’t had surgery. Completely fine... But my nose... has become twice the size of my original nose. It was slightly bulbous before... I wonder if this nasal swelling will really go down... Please tell me encouragingly that it will all go down~ I’m diligently icing it As for the magic epicanthoplasty... I still have to see after the stitches are removed, but even now there is no swelling at all, and without the stitches you wouldn’t know I had surgery. I’m satisfied. I’m worried about the nose.. Still, from yesterday until this morning my nose was blocked so I couldn’t sleep or eat properly, but after removing the cotton, I feel alive again Everyone... let’s suffer briefly and live beautifully for life~~~~~
